GOING AROUND DUMAGUETE
The Dumaguete "Pedicab"
The primary mode of transport in Dumaguete City is a tricycle locally known as the "pedicab." You'll find these everywhere, ready to take you to any destination within the city proper. They are convenient, affordable, and a quintessential part of the Dumaguete experience.
Fares & Tips
- The standard fare for a ride within the downtown area is currently ₱15.00 per person.
- For destinations outside the downtown area, it's best to negotiate the fare with the driver before you start your trip.
- Pedicabs can typically seat up to 4-5 passengers, but it can be a cozy ride!
- Simply hail one from the roadside, tell the driver your destination, and hop in.
